Workshop 1: “The Model-based Approach”
In the Netherlands, patients qualify for proton therapy using model-based selection as part of the model-based approach. However, the model-based approach is a much broader concept consisting of different other components, including model-based dose optimization, model validation and model-based clinical evaluation.
This workshop is a must for radiation oncologists, medical physicists and RTT’s who want to know more about the general concepts of the model-based approach. This workshop is a perfect basis for introducing the model-based approach in your own clinic and to apply new radiation technologies aiming at toxicity reduction using an evidence-based personalized approach.
The multidisciplinary faculty of this workshop has ample experience in the model-based approach in clinical practice.
A limited number of participants applies (due to the venue). If the maximum number of registrations has been reached, you will be informed and we can put you on the reserve list.
The workshop will be from 9:00-17:00h on April 12, 2023. A detailed programme can be found here.
The registration fee for the full day Workshop “The Model-based Approach” (including lunch) amounts to €250 (incl. VAT).
You can cancel your registration and get a full refund of the registration fee minus handling charges of 10%. This option is available until 2 weeks before the workshop. No refund will be possible if the cancellation is postmarked after this date.
